Two Well-known organisations got targeted by the netwalker ransomware operators – data leak

Just like before the NetWalker ransomware operators once again targeted two well-known organisation whose confidential data is on verge to be leaked online.

Previously the Cyble Research Team verified and reported the data leak of Stellar Corporation which was being made by the NetWalker ransomware group. But in this instance, the ransomware group leaked highly sensitive data and documents of SolarReserve and City Super Group. Talking about these organisations, SolarReserve was been established in the year 2008 and is currently the leading global developer of utility-scale solar power projects, which include electricity generation by solar thermal energy and photovoltaic panels. Whereas the City Super Group was been established in the year 1996. City Super Group opened its first store in Times Square, in the prestigious Causeway Bay shopping hub with the mission of creating Hong Kong’s first-of-its-kind “Mega Lifestyle Specialty Store” concept. the Group currently operates 20 Hong Kong stores, 5 Shanghai stores, and 7 stores in Taiwan across the three store brands, namely, city’super, LOG-ON, and cookedDeli.

The Cyble Research Team has identified the data leak. Currently, the ransomware operators have leaked a sample of data leak of all the organisations and it seems that if the organisation does make an agreement with the ransomware operators, then their sensitive data would be leaked online within a couple of days.
